Dear fellow entrepreneur. Does this sound familiar? We have a great looking website, but little or NO visitors. Now what is a website without traffic? It’s like an old car lying full of dust because nobody uses it.
Any internet marketing business should be based on a step by step ideology specific to search engine optimisation and traffic generation. This actually helps to set a complete foolproof system which would work time and again to fetch flood of free traffic to your website.
Traffic is the lifeblood of any online business and would it not be great if we can get it for FREE? So how do we go about to get this FREE WEB TRAFFIC?
There are few different things that you need to do and give yourself the best possible foundation when it comes to generating free traffic. Lots of people make it out to be quite difficult spending thousands of dollars every month with SEO companies. But the truth is not that difficult.
Yes, you do have to invest some time and energy but the overall process can be broken down into very simple system. This might seem like a lot of work for a small website or company, but you need to do it to help your website grow. If you don’t have growth, you have nothing. No business wants to stay where it is forever, and SEO is a good way to get more business and stay in the race.
Please note, Google is basically a computer machine that runs on a certain algorithm, while nobody knows exactly how the algorithm works, we can do experiments and tests. We can then infer from these results what kind of things Google looks for in order to rank very high.
Therefore I suggest, for anybody who is knew to internet marketing, you should spend 50% or more of your time on research. If you get this right, everything else becomes easy. Before you even register a domain name, before you write a piece of content you need to know what your plan of action is and what exact keywords you are going to target.
Once you know this you can formulate a plan much more effectively and you can also know before you start the kind of results you can expect.
If you keep a portfolio of keywords that you want to rank and continue to add content to your web site using those keywords you will eventually rank your website!
A word of caution specially for the newbies – making use of popular keywords but placing them in the context of your website in a manner which seems to be totally out of the place. It is a strict no-no because if search engines detect that you have inappropriately placed keywords which does not gel with the context of your website you may get penalized.
This can be a tip of the iceberg, for anybody who has just stepped or is planning to step into the world of internet marketing.
