SEOPressor

SEOPressorSEOPressor is an SEO plugin for WordPress that should help with your blog’s on-page SEO.

First of all, what is on-page SEO? There is off-page SEO and on-page SEO. The former is all about backlinks, and the latter is all about what you do on your page that you’re trying to rank. What keywords you use, how you use them, what HTML elements you use and how you use them, internal linking and so on.

While on-page SEO actually makes a small part of overall SEO, it is important to get it right for not to have unnecessary obstacles down the road. Backlink building is hard as it is so you better do what is in your control right.

SEOPressor is all about helping bloggers to optimize their posts for search engines. It’s very simple to work with – the plugin performs some tasks automatically (such as bolding or underlining keywords), gives an SEO score for your posts and gives you suggestions how to improve it.

Here are the elements that SEOPressor monitors:

  • The use of HTML tags (such as title, h1, h2 and h3)
  • Keyword density
  • Keyword placement
  • Images and links
  • Text decoration

The plugin also provides you with an easy on-page SEO management panel where you can see all your post scores and easily tweak them.

Overall you can say that this WordPress plugin takes all technicality out of on-page SEO and takes you by hand to optimizing your posts.

  1. Hi,
I’m using Dan Tan’s SEOpressor as an unlimited version on about 10 of my Geramn wordpress websites since Nov 2010. It’s a helpful tool showing you where are still chances for improvement of your webpages or blog articles.

Little problem: It does not always identify existing image ALT-tags and existing links to other pages.

Resume: a helpful priceworthy tool but it’s not creating “a bang” in website ranking positions
