Cannot speak for their “project wealth”, but can speak for their shady business practices in their other revenue line, selling stuff from their online shop — which simply doesn’t deliver the actual items ordered.
Short version: Ancient Explorers / Deep Origins will cheat you out of money, while wasting your time, and without leaving you with any item.
Both my girlfriend and I paid for items from Ancient Explorers / Deep Origins, and both received incorrect (and poor quality, at that) items of no value to us. Both complained, and after much discussion with Floyd Chuongco answering their support mail, finally got refunds on the original product’s cost (and that only upon threatening to take the dispute to PayPal), but still not the return shipping, of which they demanded proof before they would issue a refund — and then, upon receiving such proof, did a u-turn and claimed such costs should be born by the customer, despite it being their shady business practices and no customer-end fault. I was quite suprised at Floyd Chuongco’s choice then go on to lie, despite the conversation being in black and white by email, and claim he’d only given the return address “in case we wanted to return it” (and not, as it was in reality, that they demanded proof of shipping with a tracking number before they would issue a refund).
So to recap: Ancient Explorers / Deep Origins will cheat you out of money, while wasting your time, and without leaving you with any item.
So yeah, if that’s their general business ethic, I would certainly not trust them as an affiliate marketing scheme.
I agree with the reviewer! I ordered two “hand-knotted by Tibetan monks” bracelets, meant as Christmas gifts, on NOVEMBER 14, 2017. It’s January 5th and I still haven’t received them. I sent Deep Origins two emails, a week apart. Each time I received automated replies that they would get back with me “within 48 hours”. No response to either. I then sent a message via their Facebook account, and they finally responded, only to tell me the bracelets had been delayed in customs and they would send them out again. This was AFTER I told them I wanted a refund since it was after Christmas. I sent them another message, that I would go through Paypal if I didn’t hear back from them timely. No response so after several days of waiting I filed a claim with Paypal. I would NEVER advise that anyone spend money on any of their bogus products or services! Oh, and they have a C+ rating with BBB, which is pretty low.
